Jason Zeglis, professionally known as Jaywan, has spent more than two decades working across record production, major-label A&R, television and media licensing, and music entrepreneurship. His career has placed him on both sides of the music business — creating records with established artists while also working behind the scenes on the industry relationships and licensing infrastructure that move music into commercial media.
As a producer, Jaywan has worked on recordings involving Nipsey Hussle, Jim Jones, Jeezy, Twista, Kid Ink, Krayzie Bone, Joe Budden, Kevin Gates, Boot Camp Clik, Insane Clown Posse, and many others. In sync licensing, his music has accumulated more than 2,000 placements and uses across television and other media over the course of 20+ years. That combination of creator experience, A&R perspective, and long-standing sync relationships ultimately became the foundation for Drop Day Distro and Drop Day Sync.

His career has placed him on multiple sides of the music business — producing records for established recording artists, working in A&R, composing and licensing music for television and media, and developing relationships across labels, publishers, networks, production companies, and other entertainment organizations.
That experience became the foundation for Drop Day Distro and its sync licensing division, Drop Day Sync. The companies were built to translate the industry access, relationships, and practical knowledge developed throughout his career into professional infrastructure for independent creators.
